I've ordered some Calea Zacatechichi, aka the dream herb.
There are also reports of the dried leaves being smoked as cigarettes to induce "visions and clairvoyant, dream-like states in which they often perceived voices of the gods and spirits who reveal the cause of diseases, decipher the future or maybe help find lost objects. Scientifically demonstrated to increase the frequency of lucid dreams."

So hopefully, if this stuff works, I'll buy a plant and have an endless supply of leaves. I'm not expecting or looking for some sort of alternative to LSD, but just something to possibly help me achieve my goal of having a lucid dream.

Have a read of the Journal of Ethnopharmacology's "Psychopharmacologic Analysis of an Alleged Oneirogenic Plant" here. I found it quite interesting, but maybe that's because I'm actually interested in the plant's properties. I don't like the fact that they tested this stuff on cats, they should've used an evil dog (or any evil animal, deserving of punishment) that had bitten someone instead. "Large doses elicit salivation, ataxia, retching and occasional vomiting." I can't imagine a cat vomiting, that would be unbearable to watch.

I've done absolutely no work in the past two weeks, now I have an assignment due on Thursday which I am yet to start, and a test on Saturday (that's right, Saturday) that I have not studied for.

So i calculated that my dream computer system will cost 2200 bucks. I don't know if I can justify spending that amount of money on a computer, and then I'd want broadband internet to go with it, and thats gonna be like 840 bucks a year pluse setup fees plus modem and that ends up being a whole crapload of cash. And I want an electric guitar too...

I had the craziest dream yesterday night. There was this guy being beaten up by a gang of youths. I think this came from the court transcripts i was reading, in particular, this one about a gang retaliation that ended up with a murder. Anyway, so this guy was being beaten by broom handles. Not just one person hitting him, but like a whole gang of kids was taken their turn smacking him with the sticks. There was also stomping, kicking, punching, and he was lying on the ground all bandaged up, and bleeding. Why did he have bandages? I dunno, it was a dream. Man. The weirdest thing was one of the "assaults". The gang had somehow procured some of the victim's presents, birthday presents to be precise. So they got the toys, and put them under his head and made him crush his own presents, with his head. And this was apparently the worst punishment of all, since the guy seemed to hate it most. Very strange.

I can't be bothered writing anything lately. I woke up at noon today, went back to bed at two, and slept till five or six. And I still feel tired and stuff.
